In our recent post on the use of Heat Shrink Tubing for sporting equipment, we outlined a number of uses for the product that took advantage of the superior grip that heat shrink can offer. The shrinkage that occurs when the product is heated allows the tubing to form a tight fit around the surface on which it is applied, and we find the product particularly useful for creating grips on hockey sticks, baseball bats, and racket handles, making them more comfortable to hold and easier to grip.
Another great use of the product we recently discovered is the application of heat shrink tubing to bow strings used in archery. 2nd to None Bow Strings and Archery Supplies, which offers custom bow strings, is making use of our custom printed heat shrink tubing to add comfort and extra grip to the bow strings they offer, while also ensuring that their brand name is featured on the products they sell.
As you can see, 2nd to None is able to feature its company name prominently on a product that is otherwise difficult to brand, ensuring that awareness of its custom strings is increased with each sale. We love the creative use of printed heat shrink by 2nd to None. Here they have used our Dual Wall Printed Custom Heat Shrink, a 1/4" piece that shrinks at a 3:1 ratio, which is adhesive lined on the interior to ensure an extra secure fit.
If you are looking to use heat shrink for branding purposes, we offer the opportunity for you to upload your company logo during the ordering process. Our custom heat shrink is available in a wide range of colours for both the printing and the tubing, and we also have clear heat shrink tubing available.
